U-35 crew member Erich Herrmann
Erich Herrmann was born on 04 July 1914 in Kotzenau,
and joined the Kriegsmarine on 01 July 1936. He served on U-35
from 09 May 1938 until 04 April 1939.
Erich Herrmann served on board U-289 from 11 July 1943 until it was
sunk on 31 May 1944.

From 16 August 1940 until 30 September 1942, he served on board U-124. He was awarded the Iron Cross 2nd Class on 15 November 1940, and the Iron Cross 1st Class on 03 October 1941.
Erich Herrmann served on board U-289 from 11 July 1943 until it was sunk on 31 May 1944.
