U-35 crew member Willi Ensuleit

Willi Ensuleit was born on 18 November 1908 in East Prussia, near Tilsit (now Sovetsk, Russia).

U-35 at commissioning on 03 November 1936. Willi Ensuleit is the last man on the right with a dagger. [78]  Hans Fechter, Erwin de Terra, Karlgeorg Schuster, Klaus Ewerth, Otto Kretschmer, Anton Thimm, Walter Arnaschus and Kurt Schmidt are also recognizable.

Willi Ensuleit was not a member of the crew of U-35 on the second (final) war cruise, so he did not become a Prisoner of War on 29 November 1939. He passed away on 26 April 1978.
